Asef and his brother Hamid will be digging deep into their own pockets and preparing the traditional turkey dinners and the usual fish and chips and be handing these meals out to the Homeless and elderly for free on Christmas day.

Asef told the Birmingham Mail: “We have seen so many homeless people round by us that we wanted to do something to help them.

“There are also lots of elderly people who don’t have any relatives and will be on their own on Christmas Day.

“So, we’ve decided to open up especially for them, to bring some Christmas cheer.”

He added: “Unfortunately we don’t have anywhere for them to sit, so all we can do is give them the food to take away but at least it’s a hot meal for them that day.”
